My sister safely returned from Thailand to Singapore yesterday, after a delay of one day. It was really great to see her safe and sound, and from the way she shared about her experiences during dinner, I'm sure she learnt a whole lot from this OCIP trip. In any case, it's really good to have her around again at home :o)
I have not been able to attend Cell group for the past two weeks due to the BB/GB camp as as well as the BB Day Hike that took place yesterday. I also realised I have not been spending time with people from cell for quite a while, since there was also mission trip practice and meeting after service for the past recent weeks, which meant I couldn't join them for lunch and fellowship as a result. I hope I have not been missing out on too much cell stuff, and i'm definitely gonna spend more time with my cell group after I come back from Cambodia. Having said that, I have zero regrets being involved in the mission trip and BB as they are things that I personally feel strongly for and want to do well in.
Anyway, I'm going to be in LEAP next year. I wonder what lies in store for me in LEAP, but in any case it is about due time that I went for LEAP. It seems like a training phase that would benefit me greatly, and I have always looked forward to the day when I can have the opportunity to be in LEAP. It gets better, since Bryan Tan is going for LEAP as well, so that means I will company during LEAP. I'm also looking to get confirmed next year as well, so it seems like 2009 is going to an exciting year.
There are these few insect bites that I have on my body for about a week or so, and they still itch even after a week has passed! My goodness, the itch just seems to get stronger each and every time i accidentally brush my hands across them ( for whatever reasons), and it is PURE IRRITATION!!! Rebekah suggested that it is likely to be sandfly bites that I may have gotten from my BB/GB camp, but this is the first time the itchness is so potent!! The last time I had sandfly bites were in OBS in 2003, but thoses were uncomparable to the current itch gotten from bites in the recent BB/GB camp.
I want to play football soon, and hope the itches on the possible sandfly bites to go away soon. Haiz.
